Chicago Crime Anthology Hosts Tiki-Themed Release Party to Promote Their Newest Issue
NEW YORK CITY– Criminal Class Press, a Chicago-based small press will be holding a second release party for their newest anthology, Criminal Class Review: Volume 6, on June 17 from 4-8 p.m. at Otto’s Shrunken Head located at 538 E. 14th Street, NYC 10009. You must at least 21 years old to attend.
Award-winning authors such as Mickey Leigh, Kimberly Warner-Cohen, Mykel Board, John Strausbaugh and George Tabb will be making appearances as well as other featured readers from Volume 6.
The Criminal Class Band, made up of authors/musicians George Tabb, Mickey Leigh and Mykel Board, Kevin Cole of the Turbo A.C.s and punk band Lets Get Sushi and Not Pay will all be performing throughout the evening. To go along with the theme of the venue, complimentary watermelon will be available to-guests.
Established in 2008, originally as a literary branch of Hellcat Records, Criminal Class Press has published a total of 10 issues of Criminal Class Review. Every volume features prominent best-selling authors as well as exciting emerging talent.
